Epidiascope
The images of opaque objects can be projected on the screen with the help of an epidiascope. The opaque object AB is strongly illuminated by a 500 or 1000 watts bulb. C1 is a considering lens and R is a reflector. A highly polished mirror M reflects the rays and the final image is formed on the screen. The focusing lens L can be adjusted with the help of the rack and pinion arrangement P2. Arrangement is also provided to project the image of a slide on the screen. The slide is inserted at D and the source S is turned towards the condensing lens system C2. The final image on the screen can be adjusted with the help of the rack and the pinion arrangement P1.
